Championship Mentality: Eddie White Middle School’s Lady Wolves Flag Football Team Set Sights on 2025 Title Defense

Hampton, Georgia – The Eddie White Middle School Lady Wolves flag football team enters the 2025 season with one goal in mind, repeating as champions. After going undefeated in 2024 and capturing the CCPS Middle School Championship, the Wolves are once again expected to be one of the toughest teams in the county.

On Wednesday, the Lady Wolves took the field in a scrimmage against Lovejoy High School’s flag football team as part of their final preparations for the new season. Despite going up against older, more experienced high school athletes, Eddie White held their own and impressed with both their execution and competitiveness. Offensively, the Wolves showed off a sharp, well-structured playbook. Their ability to move the ball down the field with precise passing and detailed route combinations highlighted the growth of the program. Defensively, Eddie White played with toughness and discipline, showing they can hang with bigger, stronger opponents. What stood out most, however, was the Wolves’ confidence and chemistry. The scrimmage proved they are not only talented but also well-prepared to open the season on October 6.

Much of the credit goes to head coach Coach T, and Coach Kay who has built a culture of hard work, discipline, and belief in the team’s system. Under their leadership, the Lady Wolves continue to set the standard for middle school flag football in the county. With a perfect record last season, a championship trophy already in the case, and a strong showing against high school competition, the Eddie White Middle Lady Wolves appear poised to defend their crown in 2025.
