The Woodland Wolfpack continued their impressive start to the 2026 season Friday night, defeating the Mt. Zion Bulldogs to extend their winning streak to four games. With the victory, Woodland improves to a perfect 4-0, marking a major turnaround for a program that finished 3-10 overall last season. The Wolfpack have already surpassed last year’s win total and continue to establish themselves as one of the early-season turnaround stories to watch.
Woodland’s undefeated start has created plenty of momentum heading into the next phase of the season. After four consecutive victories, the Wolfpack will now enter their bye week with an opportunity to rest, regroup, and prepare for the challenges ahead.
For Mt. Zion, the loss drops the Bulldogs to 1-3 on the season. They will have a quick turnaround as they look to get back into the win column. Mt. Zion will return home next Thursday to host North Clayton, giving the Bulldogs another opportunity to build momentum as the season moves forward.
