Devin Fields may only be part of the Class of 2030, but his dream is already crystal clear, to one day suit up for a Division I college football program. While many kids his age are still figuring out what sport they like best, Devin has already locked in his focus and is working relentlessly to chase a future that includes big stadiums, scholarship offers, and national recognition. While others sleep in, Devin is training, working on speed, strength, agility, and fundamentals. He’s already participating in offseason football camps to get more reps and higher-level experience. With each game and each offseason workout, he’s building not just his skills, but also his confidence. It’s still early in his journey, but Devin Fields is setting the tone for what’s to come. He’s not waiting for the future to find him, he’s actively building it now. And if his current mindset is any indication, he’ll be more than ready when his time comes.
Today we’d like to introduce you to Devin Fields

I study my books first, then I make time to play.

I think I mostly improved on my mental, how to read coverages, and reading the offense better.
What lessons did you take away from last season?
I learned not to get frustrated when things don’t go your way. Get back up and move on to the next play. And try not to make the same mistake.

My family is what motivates me to keep working during the off-season.

I stay mentally sharp by just staying to myself.

I just eat a lot of nutritious foods and fruit.

Football helps me stay out of trouble. That is what makes me keep coming back.
How do you deal with pressure and expectations from coaches or peers?
As far as coaches, I just try to prove I can do it every chance I get. My peers, I just block them out to stay focused.

Yes. I think King Holland will have a breakout season.
What college or post-high school football goals do you have?
My goal is to get 30 plus D1 offers.
What are you most excited about for the upcoming season?
I just transferred to North Cobb, and they won the championship last year. I want to add to that, and do even better than last year.
