Today we’d like to introduce you to Kaleb Narcisse.
Kaleb, how do you balance training with academics and personal life?
I focus on taking care of my grades first, so I can do everything else afterwards, like training, watching film etc..
Who do you train with during the off-season? Do you have a mentor or trainer?
I don’t have a lot of free time in the off-season, due to me playing baseball as well. But when I’m free, I like to train with QB takeover.
What specific goals have you set for yourself before next season?
My goal is to pass over 3,000 yards, rush for over 600 yards and score 40 Touchdowns.
Are you working on any particular skills or techniques right now?
I’m working on my footwork in the pocket, as well as escaping when need be and throwing on the run.
What part of your game do you think improved most last season?
My IQ of the game. As the season went on I got better at seeing the field and reading the defense. I’m very confident in the player I am now, and I go into games differently than I did last year.

How are you staying in shape during the off-season?
I mostly stay in shape by playing baseball.
What lessons did you take away from last season?
“Don’t go broke taking a profit”. I learned the best play is not always the 50 yard go route to my outside receiver. I learned to take the easy money and don’t be greedy.
Is there a moment from last season that stands out to you?
I would say the improvement I made from game 1 to game 12 against Creekside, where I threw for 5 TDS in the playoff game.
How do you stay mentally sharp and focused when games aren’t being played?
Watching films, or training on the skills I need to work on.
What kind of diet or nutrition plan are you following now?
I don’t have any diets I follow, but I try to eat healthy and put the nutrients in my body that I need to be successful.
Have you taken on a leadership role with your team during the break?
Yes, I took it upon myself to be a better vocal leader for my team this off-season.
Are you watching or studying any pro or college players for inspiration?
There’s a few QBs I like to watch and study. Jalen Hurts, Russell Wilson, Cam Ward and Patrick Mahomes.
What’s your favorite part about football that keeps you coming back?
Friday Night Lights! And the bonds I have made with my teammates off the field.
How do you deal with pressure and expectations from coaches or peers?
I try to stay calm in the moment and treat pressure as a privilege.
What motivates you to keep pushing during the off-season?
All the people who discredit me, and don’t give me any respect. That what motivates me.

Are there any teammates you think will have a breakout season next year?
WR Brock Burrus and WR Nemo Watson will have breakout seasons this year.
What college or post-high school football goals do you have?
I want to play in the NFL or MLB.
Have you been contacted by any recruiters or started thinking about your next steps?
Yes, I have some schools reaching out to me and showing interest in me.

I’m most excited about our rematch against Lowndes.
